I have held on to a few VHS tapes because they are either not on DVD (and probably never will be) or I just wanted to keep them for nostalgia purposes~
The video above I have watched so many times I lost count! It's a collection of a bunch of Andrew Lloyd Webber music videos. Of course, "Phantom" is my favorite! :-)
Above is "House of Dark Shadows"- I recently learned this and the other movie based off the late 60's soap opera, "Night of Dark Shadows" are now available on blu ray!
This next film (above) is, "The Turn of the Screw"- I read the Henry James novel and just love this story. This is a great film and has actor Julian Sands in it- love him!
I found this next VHS tape (above) of "976-Evil 2" still factory sealed at a local pawn shop several years ago. I watched it- it wasn't all that great, but the original "976-Evil" film directed by Robert Englund (Freddy Krueger) was really good!
The above VHS tape is the 80's cartoon of "The Phantom of the Opera." This is where it all started for me. I was about 8 years old when I first watched this on HBO of all channels! From there, I was totally, completely seduced by the music of the night. :-)
